Once again, we are presented with the unimaginable. As a father, a proud Jew, and a citizen of the world, I, like so many of you, am outraged at the display of psychological warfare against the Bibas family, the State of Israel, and the Jewish people.

To learn that the youngest hostages, Kfir and Ariel Bibas, were murdered a month into their captivity is unimaginable. To learn that the body that was returned to Israel was not that of their mother, Shiri Bibas, is unimaginable. The immense pain caused by Hamas – to the Bibas family, and the Jewish people – is unimaginable.

To think that Hamas is anything but a terrorist organization, is equally unimaginable.

The Jewish Alliance sends our deepest condolences and love to the Bibas family and our brothers and sisters in Israel during this horrific period.

May we find peace this Shabbat even as we mourn.
