Part grantmaker, part fundraiser, part think tank, part gathering place, part provider of essential services, the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island funds more than 300 programs to build a strong, vibrant Jewish community that’s committed to social justice and to experiencing Jewish life together in a spirit of joy and generosity. The Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island offers social, cultural, educational, recreational, and wellness benefits that strengthen Jewish identity, family life, community, and the connection between the local Jewish community and Israel. The Alliance also builds and sustains Jewish community by maximizing philanthropic resources and volunteer efforts. Some 2,000 donors raised nearly $3 million in the 2021 Community Campaign, supporting a quality Jewish life for Jews everywhere, every day.
