A reminder that the pool will be closed from April 26 to May 12 for essential repairs.
During this time, we’ll be draining the pool, acid-washing the bottom, repairing cement, deep-cleaning the deck, replacing the main drain cap, and installing a new glass window wall. We’ll keep you updated if the timeline changes.
We know this temporary closure may be an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to maintain a safe and enjoyable space for everyone.
To help minimize any inconvenience during this time, JCC members are invited to use the pool at Brown University. Simply present your JCC ID badge at the front desk (or the number on the back of your fob), sign a waiver, and enjoy their pool.
Please note the following:
- Access is limited to one visit per day between April 28 and May 9. Click here for their pool schedule.
- The water temperature at Brown University's pool is maintained between 76–79°F, which is cooler than the JCC's typical range of 84–86°F.
- The JCC will cover all associated costs for our members using the Brown University pool during this period.
In the meantime, we encourage you to explore other ways to stay active—try a fitness class, drop in for pickleball, take a walk on the treadmill, or book a session with a personal trainer.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Natalie Lyalin, Chief Experience Officer, at 401.421.4111, ext. 169.
